Watching football on a "brown" field

Hello again! This is my second post...in two days (i'm doing good with this)! Today was a beautiful day to go to a football game. It wasn't too warm, a nice breeze. My cousin played his first High School career football game at Charleston High School. (Honestly, it wasn't much of a game...we got clobbered 54-12, but for their first game, they did alright). The interesting thing that happened today was the football field that they played on was almost completely brown. It was brown, because of the drought we have been in for the past (almost 3 months). The grass looked nasty, and dead. This was interesting to me because I've never seen yards or grass this dead before. It is really sad to look at. This time, since I noticed the "brown" field I took some pictures of it from where I was sitting. The pictures definately tell how bad the area is without the rain.

"The Disruption of the Sand Tornado at a baseball game"

Hello!
This is my first interesting thing that happened to me on my first week of school! Today I had a day off....I did nothing but homework for most of the day...(I was pretty busy). I was planning on going to my brothers baseball game today at Thomasboro Grade School. While I was there the most unusual thing happened. During the game over by the first baseline a "sand" tornado formed in the field. It was really awesome to look at because you don't normally see those everyday. It traveled from the first base line, to the pitching mond, to the third base line where it disappeared shortly after. They had to stop the game to let it pass....it was just one of those moments where I should've brought my camera out.

---Here is a picture kind of describing its path. I'm sorry that it is not very good...honestly i'm not a very good drawer!

:-)
